RFIDayton background

RFIDayton was initiated by the Strategic Development Committee at CityWide Development Corporation, a group of community leaders from business, academia and government. The project’s goal is to establish Dayton as the premier hub for the development and commercialization of new RFID products, the model for collaboration and the “go to” place for implementation of success.

A 4-pronged approach has been established to achieve the community’s goal:

1. Coalesce the regional RFID industry,
2. Create a Value Proposition to establish Dayton as a global hub for RFID development and application,
3. Develop specific niche areas and identify missing components necessary to complete the regional cluster,
4. Develop a strategy to redirect RFID investment to Dayton

RFIDayton is an association of technologists, manufacturers, systems integrators, developers and users of RFID. This unique collaborative group offers each of us the chance to work together to enhance our individual businesses’ capabilities, and also to add to the reputation we’re developing in Dayton: the place to be for RFID!
